Chicken paprika

| In large pan, add butter, brown large onion until just browner. Add chicken. Let brown for a minute or two, add enough water to almost cover chicken add 4 chicken bullion cubes. A generous amount of paprika salt and pepper. Partially cover and let water cook down adding paprika often. When sauce thickens remove chicken. Add 3 tbsp flour and cook a few minutes until flour has had a chance to absorb, add couple TBSP milk. Stirring vigorously making sure there are no lumps like making gravy. Add container of sour cream, stir well and taste to make sure enough spices added. Combine chicken, sauce and dumplings. |
