Venison stew meat with brown sauce

4 slices | bacon |
1 medium | onion |
3 cloves | garlic |
1 lb | venison stew meat |
Olive oil as needed | |
Cajunpower Cajun Seasoning | |
2 cups | water with beef boullion |
1/2 cup | red wine |
4 tbs | Tony Chachere's Brown Gravy mix |
1/4 cup | sour cream |
Brown bacon, add onion and then garlic. Saute in bacon grease until translucent. Add stew meat, and olive oil as needed. Brown. Sprinkle with CajunPower Cajun Seasoning. Add water with beef boullion and red wine. Simmer for 30 minutes. After 15 minutes add brown gravy mix. Right before serving add sour cream to right consistency. Serve over rice or noodles | |
