| 1 cup | butter or margarine. 2 1/4 cups unsifted all-purpose flour |
| 2/3 cup | sugar. 1/3 cup Hershey's cocoa |
| 1 egg. 1/2 teaspoon salt | |
| 1 teaspoon | vanilla |
Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Combine flour, cocoa and salt; blend in. Shape into small balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet and crisscross with fork like peanut butter cookies. Bake at 350 for 5 to 7 minutes or until set. Remove from cookie sheet; cool on wire rack. 4 to 5 dozen cookies.
