Buckeye Balls

| 11/2 cup | peanut butter |
| 1/2 cup | butter softened |
| 1 teaspoon | vanilla |
| 1/2 teaspoon | sal |
| 3-4 cup | confectioners sugar |
| Coating | |
| 1lb | chocolate flavored candy coating |
| 2 tablespoon | crisco all veg shortening |
Combine peanut butter, vanilla, butter and salt in large bowl. Beat at low speed until blended. Add 2 cup sugar. Continue adding sugar 1/2 cup continue until mixture shapes into balls. Place on wax paper and refrigerate an hour.
For coating: combine candy and shortening in microwaveable bowl. Stir until smooth.
Insert toothpick and dip into candy. Refrigerate until candy is firm. Smooth over toothpick holes.
