Southern living Yukon gold mash with morel sauce

Ingredients: Yukon gold potatoes | |
Garlic cloves | |
1/4 cup | butter melted |
1and 1/4 cup milk Morel sauce: | |
2 packages | morel dried morel mushrooms |
2 cups | boiling water |
2 tablespoons | butter |
Olive oil | |
2 cups | chopped mushrooms |
3/4 cup | chopped onion |
2 tablespoons | Balsamic vinaigrette |
1/4 cup | all purpose flour |
1/2 cup | water |
1/2 cup | half and half |
Salt | |

Prepare:
Prepare morel sauce:
Place morels in two cups boiling water. Remove morels and chop them leaving water that it was boiled in. Heat butter and olive oil in a pan and add the chopped mushrooms and onions. When onions have browner add morels and vinaigrette. Add a little but of he broth into the pan. Stir water and flour together in a bowl and then add to the the other ingredients in the pan. When thick and smooth add in half and half and other ingredients.
Cook potatoes in boiling salted water for about twenty minutes. Drain potatoes. Saute garlic with butter milk salt and pepper when garlic is golden. Add this with the potatoes and mash them.
