Spicy Slaw

1 Cups | mayonnaise |
2/3 Cup | cider vinegar |
4 TB | sugar, to taste |
2 tsp | Tabasco, to taste |
2 tsps | kosher salt |
1/2 tsp | freshly ground black pepper |
1-2 | cabbages, thinly sliced (approx 4 lbs total) |
5-6 | tomatoes, seeded and chopped |
1 | large onion, thinly sliced |
3 | cucumbers, peeled, seeded and diced |
Whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, Tabasco, salt, and pepper until sugar is dissolved, then toss with vegetables.
Cooks' note:
• Slaw may be made 1 day ahead and chilled, covered.
