Italian-Style Sauteed Greens

2 T | olive oil |
2 cloves | garlic, minced |
1/2 bunch | swiss chard, (5-6 oz.; pick white stems, most tender), ribs and leaves chopped separately |
1/2 bunch | kale, (5-6 oz.;Tuscan or lacinato), leaves chopped coarsely (discard ribs) |
3 T | golden raisins |
Heat oil in lg skillet over med heat. Add garlic and saute for 1 min. Add chard ribs and kale and saute for 2 mins until softened. Add chard leaves, a few at a time, to coat w/oil and garlic. Cover and cook until greens softened, about 5 mins. Stir once to keep greens and garlic from sticking. Add raisins and stir. Season w/salt and pepper.
