Sour Cream Apple Squares

| 2 c | flour |
| 1/2 c | softened butter |
| 1/2 t | cinnamon |
| 1/2 t | salt |
| 1 t | vanilla |
| 2 c | brown sugar |
| 1 c | chopped pecans |
| 1 t | baking soda |
| 1 | egg |
| 2 c | chopped apples |
| 1 c | sour cream |
Combine flour, sugar and butter. Mix until crumbly, stir in nuts
Press 2 2/3 c crumb mixture into ungreased 13x9 pan
To remaining mixture add: cinnamon, salt, baking soda, sour cream, vanilla and egg. Blend well. Stir in apples
Spoon evenly over base
Bake 25-35 min in 350 oven
Cut into squares
Serve warm with whipped cream
