    3 cups  flour
    2 cups  sugar
    4  eggs
    1 cup  oil
    3 tsp  baking powder
    2 1/2 tsp  vanilla
    1/4 cup  orange juice

Separate: 6 granny smith apples peeled, 6 tblsp sugar, 3 tsp cinnamon

Grease cake pan with crisco and dust with flour. Mix all cake ingredients together. Put small amount of batter in pan and layer of apples. Keep layering and finish with batter. Bake at 350 for one hour and 10 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
