Crab Casserole

POOR MAN'S CRAB CASSEROLE | |
1 (1 lb.) pkg. | frozen turbot, or other mild white fish, thawed |
CRAB MIXTURE: | |
2/3 c. | melted butter |
1 c. | crushed herb seasoned stuffing mix |
1 (6 oz.) can | crabmeat, drained and picked clean |
1 (4 oz.) can | sliced mushrooms, drained |
1 | egg, beaten |
2 tbsp. | chopped fresh parsley |
1/2 tsp. | salt |
2 tbsp. | lemon juice |
1/4 tsp. | Tabasco sauce |
In a medium mixing bowl combine all crab mixture ingredients. Place the fish fillets in an ungreased 8 inch square baking dish. Top with crab mixture. Top the crab mixture with the following: | |
2 tbsp. | melted butter |
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until fish flakes easily. Makes 4 servings.
