T | honey, warmed |
T | chopped almonds |
T | chopped pecans |

cup citrus peel, chopped
T extra chopped pecan and almonds
Preheat oven to 350 F
1. Combine flour, sugar, butter, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Rub in butter until crumbly. Add 2-3 T cold water and cut through, until the mixture forms a dough. Gather into a ball.
2. Cut the dough in half and roll each piece into a strip about 16x 4 inches. Trim the edges with a knife. Spread 3T honey over the dough and sprinkle with nuts, cinnamon, and peel. Roll up lengthways into two long log shapes and cut these in four. Place on a greased or paper lined baking sheet.
3. Glaze with the remaining honey, sprinkle with mixed nuts and make diagonal slashes in the top.
4. Bake for 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm, perhaps dusted with cinnamon and sugar or whipped cream.
