4 c | Luke warm water |
1 packet | yeast |
3 tsp | salt |
5 tsp | sugar |
7 c | all purpose flour |
Stir and dissolve yeast in Luke warm water. Stir in salt and sugar. Taste and adjust if necessary. Stir in Gold Medal All Purpose flour.
Roll out on floured counter. Knead 10 minutes or until smooth. Keep in shape of ball. Put about 3 tbsp oil in large bowl. Place ball in bowl and turn until ball is covered in oil. Cover with dry towel and let rise about 1 hour. Punch down and turn over and let rise again. Generously oil a 9x13 pan. Pinch off a piece of the dough about the size of a golf ball and roll it to make a ball. Place in pan. Continue until pan is full. Poke each roll about three times with a fork. Let rise again in the pan. Bake 30 min on 450 degrees or until golden brown. Rub the tops of the rolls with a stick of butter as soon they are taken out of the oven.
