Super-Fast Gravy

1 box | all-natural heat-and-serve turkey gravy, trader joe |
3/4 cup | portobello mushrooms, finely diced |
2 garlic cloves, minced | |

Simply purchase a box of all-natural heat-and-serve turkey gravy (CE suggests: Trader Joe's Turkey Gravy). To add homemade flavor, heat 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat and add 3/4 cup finely diced portobello mushrooms and 2 minced garlic cloves. Cook until tender, 3 minutes. Add gravy, bring to a simmer and stir in 1 tbsp chopped fresh herbs of your choice. If you prefer a smooth texture, transfer gravy to a blender and puree. Reheat before serving.
