    1/2 t  sea salt
    1/2 cup  barley, quick-cooking
    1 medium  onion, sliced into rounds
    2 T  olive oil
    5 cloves  garlic, sliced into rounds
    1 cup  mango, cubed
    1/2 cup  frozen peas
    16 oz.  bison sirloin tip, trimmed of fat and cut into 1/4" strips
    1 cup  cherry tomatoes, halved
Spice Blend (or 5 t curry powder)
    1 t  cumin
    1/2 t  cinnamon
    1 t  coriander
    1 t  tumeric
    2 t  ginger

Boil 1 c water; simmer barley for 10-12 minutes. Mix spice blend and salt and set aside.

Saute onion in large saucepan for 3 minutes; add garlic and saute for another 2 minutes. Stir in spice blend, mango, peas, and bison. Reduce heat and cook for another 5 mins.

Nutrition for 4 oz. bison and 1.5 cup mixture: Calories: 354; fat: 11 g; carb: 37 g; fiber: 7g; sugar: 10 g; protein: 29 g; na: 305 g.
