| 2/3 cup | butter |
| 1/3 cup | brown sugar |
| 2 | egg yolks |
| 1 tsp. | Vanilla |
| 1 1/2 cups | sifted flour |

| 3/4 cups | chopped walnuts |
Marchino cherries or preserves
Cream butter and sugar. Add yolks, vanilla, salt, beat well. Gradually add flour. Shape into 3/4 in. Balls. Dip in egg whites and then nuts. Bake 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Put in preserve and bake addle 5 minutes.
