This main meal recipe is intended for older babies who have tried a different number of textures and foods. Baby should be able to sit up straight in a high chair and able to hold head up on their own. Recipes including sugar should not be given to babies under 12 months of age. Please always check with your pediatrician to ensure your baby is ready for a more varied solid diet. | |
1 | boneless/skinless chicken breast |
1 | carrot, (chopped) |
1 | celery, (chopped) |
1 small | potato, (peeled and chopped) |
Remove any fat from chicken. Chop chicken into chunks and place in a pan with enough water to cover. Simmer on low for approximately 15 minutes. Add chopped vegetables to pan and simmer another 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Transfer mixture to food processor or blender and blend until smooth. You may need to blend mixture in batches.
