Potatoes Romanoff a la Betty

6 large | russet potatoes |
1/2 cup(s) | milk |
1/2 cup(s) | sour cream |
1/2 tsp | salt |
1/6 tsp | pepper |
1/4 cup(s) | diced green onions |
1 cup(s) | grated cheddar |
(1)Cook and mash - whip- the potatoes with the milk. Add the other things
and 3/4 cup cheese. Butter a 9x9 casserole dish, and cover with remaining
cheese. Sprinkle paprika. Cover and refrigerate if want. overnight
ok-Bake at 350 for 20-30 min. Can freeze if line pan with foil, leaving a
bit hanging over edges. Cover potatoes with more foil. Thaw and
bake.
(2).Betty.s best- Bake and grate in cuisinart. Leave out milk. 7
pots. Small carton sour cream. Cup of cheese. Some green onion.can
