1 12-ounce jar | herring in cream or wine sauce, drained |
1 8-ounce package | cream cheese |
1/2 cup | pitted ripe olives |
1/3 cup | chopped parsley |
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon | curry powder |
juice of 1/2 a lemon
Place all ingredients in a blender and process at the highest speed until smooth.
Place mixture in a crock and chill. Serve on party rye with chopped olives and
hard-cooked egg. Herring Pate can also be served with raw vegetables.
