Cranberry sauce

| 1 bag | washed cranberries |
| 1 cup | sugar |
| 1 cup | water |
| 1 | peeled, cored and chopped Granny Smith apple |
Mix sugar with water til dissolved. Add cranberries and apples. Simmer on medium/low until cranberries are very soft and deep red color. Stir and break cranberries. Store in covered container. Cool. The mixture will gel up nice and firm from the natural pectin in the berries.
