Grandma Cipalo's Frozen Cookie Slices

| 1 pound | butter, softened |
| 1 cup | sugar |
| 1 cup | brown sugar |
| 3 | eggs, well beaten |
| Pinch | salt |
| 1 teaspoon | cinnamon |
| 4 1/2 cups | flour |
| 2 teaspoons | baking soda |
| 1 cup | chopped almond slices |
Cream butter and sugars; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend dry ingredients together. Stir dry ingredients together. Stir dry ingredients into creamed mixture.
Form dough into into long loaves and wrap in wax paper or plastic wrap. Place in plastic bags and freeze overnight. Slice and place on baking sheets and bake at 325 degrees for 8 to 10minutes. Cookies should touch-test done and be lightly browned.
