Meat and Cheese Lasagna with Garlic Bread and Salad

1/2 C. | finely chopped onion |
2/3 C. | finely chopped celery |
2/3 C. | finely chopped carrot |
2 T. | Oil |
3 T. | Butter |

1 C. | Whole Milk |
1 C. | Dry white wine |
2 C. | chopped Tomatoes |
Besciamella | |
1 Gallon | Milk |
100 Grams | Flour |
100 Grams | Butter |
Nutmeg | |
Fresh Mozzarella | |

Directions: Put Butter and Oil in a pot with Onion - 5 min. Add Celery and carrots - 2 more min. Add Meat, S & P - cook for 5 min. Add Milk, let it cook for 10 min. wait til has has bubbled away. Add Nutmeg, grated about 1/2 t. Add wine and tomatoes. Turn heat down after tomato begins to bubble and let it simmer for about 3 hrs Add water if sauce starts sticking to pot. Make Beschemel sauce, butter, flour, milk, s & p, nutmeg Melt butter in a pot, w/o burning it. Add flour, stir, and cook it for about 5 min. Add Milk, wisk it, and cook for about 10 min, stirring constantly. Build lasagna with meat and tomato sauce on bottom, | |
